Summary

Workinggas in storage was 2,337 Bcf as of Friday, May 29, 2009, according toEIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 124 Bcf from theprevious week. Stocks were 546 Bcf higher than last year at this timeand 423 Bcf above the 5-year average of 1,914 Bcf. In the East Region,stocks were 74 Bcf above the 5-year average following net injections of71 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 250 Bcf above the 5-yearaverage of 684 Bcf after a net injection of 34 Bcf. Stocks in the WestRegion were 99 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 19Bcf. At 2,337 Bcf, total working gas is above the 5-year historicalrange.
