a question from a newbee

a question from a newbeeIf there is a African Company offering to buy all the shares at .14 or more? depending on oil pricing at the time, and there is a good chance of this deal going through, why not snap up shares and hold them until the sale is complete?  At .9 today, and almost no movement in prices lately, wouldnt this be a good investment. Some are saying that there is no way they want to sell at a low price of .14 they paid a lot more and dont agree with the sale or the price. However with me, it would be a different story, to pick up at 9 and sell at 14 seems like a bonanza, over 50% increase in 3 months.
