Why is it a buy?

Why is it a buy?Can someone enlighten please. I thought Maria was dead. Is there anything else to this play? I had bought on the chance for Maria and I am still holding at far higher SP than most of you. I hadn't paid attention to GUL but it seems that there is a lot of positive sentiment on this board. Why?
