RE: Any Gold Left?I think one question mark is sufficient ....hyperbole is usually delivered with so much hot air. Do you seriously think someone with the back-groung that Pat Downey has would enter blindly into a deal without doing his DD?..Is it not common for smaller companies to "clean-up" the leavings of the bigger companies ( of which Yamana is one) and remain profitable until the mine is depleted? The Yamana's of the world have certain volume requirements below which they either shutter the mine or sell to smaller, more agile companies that don't have the high overheads and operating costs.Sure it is not a sexy deal but they are not in business to be sexy but rather to add value to the share holder's investment and I would say today did that.. ORA is building a diverse income base from what I can see or perhaps is making itself an attractive target.
To think they would not do DD before such a major deal is laughable...of course I am laughing now because I rode it all the way down, back to what I paid and now a nice profit for my patience. I have sold 20% today to lock in some profit but I am long on the rest that I will just tuck away because ORA is going to be a real winner in the long run
