RE: RE: novice questionNo one knows where the source of the gold at Mkuvia originates. There are tons of theories but much more exploration is needed. The present exploration program is covering less than 0.1% of the land package.
One geologist thought while I was there that the area was probably a river delta region where multiple streams fed into the Mkuvia. The Ocean or big lake had its shores there and repeatedly washed and weathered the material. I was amazed by the sheer size and depth of fine grained sand there. The gold I collected and analyzed is very fine. Just about any rock in the conglomerate area was weathered smooth. We're not talking just in one spot but everywhere we visited on the property spanning several kilometers. The geologist likened it to the Nome, Alaska prolifict river delta that produced multi-millions of ounces of gold spanning a very large area.
I spoke briefly to Harp today. He's going to be in Vancouver next week for something like a couple of weeks. No news to report on the CTO other than it's up to the Commission. Hopefully that CTO can clear so we can hear what the company has been up to these many months.
