Means Exxon sees natural gas becoming more valuable and taking on a larger energy supply role. They are well aware of the shale gas potential so there must be some accelerating factors at work. Get ready for more electricity produced by gas fired plants, natural gas cars and the need to build fueling stations. Not anytime soon but a few years out a bigger spike in oil prices.
