hi donnyThe focus of my last post was on the 2 powerful upward moves rather than everything that brought the stock down.

The initial downward pressure, or lack of further gain if you want to view it that way, was technical exhaustion in both EC's (GML's chart) and gold IMHO.  I've included the two principlal points that really drove this thing down: Correa election victory in late 2006 also put a damper on share prices, and the moratorium simply crushed the stock.  Meanwhile Brazil remained a mess.

And yes, the 2008 full spectrum meltdown was yet another kick in the pants which of course led to the reverse split.
