Why did I pst the letter that I sent to Shabir? After meeting with a group of fellow shareholders this weekend, we discussed our current share price and goings on at AOS. We came to the overwhelming concensus that something is not right. We looked at other oil and gas companies and tried to compare apples to apples and here is what we came up with.
1. AOS's assests are some of the best out there.
2. AOS's working interest partnerships are a step in the right direction.
3. Our share price stinks!! Why?
4. Why are we trading at 1/3 the value of STP for example, when we all know we have better assets, more production, money in the bank.
5. Something needs to be done.
6.
The only tangible thing to look at is management and the board of directors!!!!
Does Shabir have crediblilty in the oil and gas community? Obviously not, look at the share price?
Does Shabir have the background to take AOS to the next level, I don't think so, do some research on his background, you decide for yourself?
Am I being unreasonably hard on Shabir, somewhat, but I have alot of money at stake and I want results. I don't think he has the tools to take this company to the next level. Do anyone out there think he does? The corporate investment community obviously doesn't believe he does, just look at the stock price!!!
Shabir needs to step aside and take on a more behind the scenes role and make way for a CEO that has more credibility in the oil/gas community, the investment community and the finance community.
For Shabir this will benefit him by his shares becoming worth more because the company is prospering under new leadership.
He has done a decent job getting the company to where it is at, now we need someone to take us to the next level.
Shabir has been approached and has refused any suggested changes, therefore he has pushed the share holders to take action. The proxy voting is coming soon and the AGM is happenning at the end of JULY. Now is the time to take action if you are unhappy.
e-mail me if you would like more information regarding this voting and changing of the management team.
