RE: RE: Update on the meeting

RE: RE: Update on the meeting

Well what I learned is that the vote was accepted and we are now waiting for the court decision.  We all know they will aprove it.

There are couple of local newspapers, in french, that covered the event and you can find them on google and get a translator software.

At this point the neuromodulation division is known.  The uncertainity is more on the bionic side.  However the new power knee seems very promissing.  I also found out on google that the US Army as a request for 5 systems for trials.

One question from a journalist was interresting and was if Ottobock would also eventually buy the bionic division as well.  It seems that there are reasons to believe that this might make sense for Ottobock.  The C-leg is strickly passive and years behing the Power Knee technology.

I think that sooner or later vichom will be completly sold in 1 or 2 pieces.  It seems that Ottobock is much more aggressive than Ossur.

Victhom was able to get through this very tough financial situation.  I can only see better times ahead of us.  I still believe that they are worth well over actual SP.  The SP is improving slowly.  Let's see when it will get its full fair value.

The cash flow concern is valid with the info we have now.  But I think it will be fixed very soon.  No more expenses for neuromodulation division since that will be covered by Ottobock cash infusion.  Bionic R&D is almost finished.  So the royaltees should cover expenses and I even expect reasonable profits in very near future.

I am sure there was alot more said at the meeting but this is what I was able to learn.  If anybody knows more please share it with us.
