RE: RE: news

RE: RE: news
Just to clarify my thought process so there is no misunderstandings.  My thinking is where there is smoke there is often fire in the long-term.  We know that Nationalization is not a new concept in Russia.  I am just saying that if I was this individual I would be 100% focused on my core assets during these difficult times.  It is just beyond my abilities to grasp why someone so wealthy and with such a massive steel empire would have himself or any of his employees focus time on non-core investments at this time.  Is it because he is seeing significant value in HRG?  If so, then why is he only offering $.22.  Which one is it?  One cannot say HRG is worth peanuts by a $.22 offer, and then at the same time suggest that HRG is crown jewel.  I mean, I think, that is what is happening here.  And, this is why the take over attempts will fail miserably, if minority shareholders hold onto their shares.  I think most minority shareholders can see through all of this.

I wanted to clarify because I do recognize that Mordashov said this in the article:

"he didn't think it was very serious."

'(But) I'm sure that in the long term the government is not ready and does not like to be involved in any steel companies.'

"He also said Severstal hadn't borrowed any money from state-owned banks."
