RE: brnt RE: origins

RE: brnt RE: originsYou are right about needing management/ financial type people to run a business. From my research so far, BXI seems to have better management than some of the other companies developing canola protein isolytes like Can Pro and Burcon. It seems various people have been researching the concept for a while but nobody really has been able to commercialze the process so far.

Don't get me wrong, I have a fair chuck of change invested in this company and I am wracking my brain trying to figure out why I shouldn't invest more.

My impression ( and I could be wrong) is that management are money people--their sole purpose is to develop a startup company and nurture it along so they can aquire stock options and make money. This is opposed to a company like Apple where you have one brainchild who has an obsession to develop his idea. I think the logical outcome of management is that eventually they will sell out and make a whack of money.

I am just curious how the company originated.Every startup company out there has a "patented process". Its a schtik that pitchmen use. I am just trying to get a sense of how slick management is as opposed to how genuine they are. They seem to know how to orchestrate the rolling out of a startup company but how committed are they to the company and its shareholders?
