Fat Lady Yet to SingInteresting what a night's sleep and a little bit of reflection brings out of the woodwork. I note that the negative posting has abated in large part as of this morning and people are looking through the hubris for some positive aspects of the NR and most importantly they are finding potentially good news. Indeed, it appears the bashers are now losing ground in this mini-public relations war. Has it dawned on anyone that maybe they have underestimated the foresight of management in releasing this NR on Friday afternoon because they knew it would take at least the weekend for some people to completely digest it properly.
I wonder what will happen by tomorrow, if the trend continues everyone will be back on board touting the possibilities of this play and we know there is still a long way to go before the chances of finding a motherlode are exhausted. In fact the CEO stated that he believes that the present geological formation is a kind of trap for mineralization which may be just below it. I can't say it emphatically enough, I would far rather put my money on this very experienced management team than some TWO BIT SUCKEE SLURPEE BASHER who hasn't contributed one iota of objectivity on this board.
I find it extremely interesting that the company is reporting that there will be a further disclosure later this week. Over the years I have seen this kind of a a double stage NR to shake out all the naysayers, negativos, and nailbiters. It often also gives those who continue to display faith in management a chance to reload and rewards them further down the road (possibly in as little as a few days) for their support. At least I think this is how this one is going to play out.
Again, I have very little time for those that expected an ingot to be dropped in their lap, simply because they threw a few sheckels at a passing fancy. People in general are often altogether to quick to judge and don't take the time to weigh all the information, put their antannae up to Interpret the subtlties, and then make reasoned decisions.. All in all, this NR is not horrible news and in fact on sober reflection might be actually very positive news. I agree with the poster who intimated that all the knee-jerk bashing looks like a play by some to manipulate a reduction in the SP. Moreover, further information is forthcoming this week and anyone who panic sells on Monday will get what they deserve. Patience grasshopppers, the fat lady as one poster noted, well may have farted, but she still has a long way to go before she completes the performance.
