RE: Azteca's response to my EmailIt has very little to do with the fact that the management wrote back or did so promptly (although one can argue that it shows good management and they are on top of things and on that I reserve judgement) what it has to do with is what they said.
Many on this board seem to keep missing the fact that management keeps saying they are "excited by these results", and there seems to be an emphasis on the results being more skewed to a potential gold find rather than silver. And here again they have stated they are excited by the results. It appears to me that I am one of the few who has read the NR in detail. First of all management have indicated in no uncertain terms that they believe the motherlode may be just below the carbonate formation; having intimated that it might be a higher concentration of gold than previously thought (as opposed to silver), having indicated that the carbonate formation may be contigous from hole 5 to hole 6, having announced further drilling in the short and long term, and having announced further results and a NR in the coming days.
In light of this, which in the grand scheme of things is positive news no matter how you slice it, all one seems to see on this board is negativity. Is it warranted in that management didn't report results of a major strike? I don't think so, if the motherlode is there it will come in due course. The news we did get may not be what we were expecting or hoping for but it is clearly not "bad news". If you are objective about it, at worst it is some hurry up and wait news. I think we are talking about the vast majority of negative posters acting like 5 years olds demanding their ice cream now; they are simply not prepared to wait until after dinner. Negativity, emotion and extreme judgmentalism are a deadly combination, in the marketplace and in almost every situation I can think of lead to precipitous action which can sometimes affect everyone. I know many are extremely dissappointed but I urge you to reread the news release in the calm and light of another day and many of you may look at this from a different perspective.
It would be sad to see a number of fellow investors sell off on Monday, many doing so because they are being "sheepoled" into doing so by obvious bashers, who want to pick up this play on the cheap. This one event does not even come close to making the story complete. If it did one would think management would have an extremely difficult if not impossible time of justifying further drilling, additional step out wells and the like. Wake up and smell the coffee, certain posters here are really doing their utmost to get you to sell shares on Monday. Regardless, I have a funny feeling this thing might continue on an upward surge contrary to what all these poseurs are saying. How many times have we seen exactly that sort of contrarian thing happen. At the very least one might want to wait until we get the expected clarification promised later in the week.
