The above was $833/carat for a rough diamond.
So MPV can sell their portion of the rough diamonds. So lets look at this closely and only at 5034 for arguement sake. Nov news, 5034 averaged $122/carat and has 24 million carats indicated. MPV's stake is 1.4 billion just from 5034. That alone is over $20/share and I'm certain that the remaining diamonds from other pipes will more than cover costs of the mine and all operating expenses. PLUS, that's not rough diamond market price. Tuzo's 25 carat diamond was valued at $425000 ($17000/carat). What is the rough market value for this.
Lets be very very very conservative and say: For 5034 alone, the 1.4 billion in diamonds will fetch at least double that on the market and then there's Hearne, Tuzo and the other pipes of "significant value". If you were a Billionaire interested in this, what would you pay? This mine is gonna make someone or some company very rich.
I now believe that MPV will be bought out in short time and it'll be more than most think.
