RE: Traffic management is used to optimize the netGood stuff beavertail. In the name of 'equity' (sic), Canadians are far too quick to establish first-come, first-serve "free" access to valuable public-owned resources. Fish, forests, road systems, bridges, ferries, health. On some margin, all services suffer, and mistrust of the public sector grows. Agencies like the CRTC are in a privileged position to take from some and give to others.
Hope that the CRTC has some economic sense and leans towards longer-term collective social benefits as opposed to influential, short-term private benefits. But frankly, I don't understand these issues particularly well and would appreciate any and all insights from all quarters.
To understand the policy issues is to understand the potential future sector market structure outcomes. So keep it flowing please.
