Can they be that stupid?

Can they be that stupid? As a public company trading on a Canadian Exchange, Mart is regulated by the SEC.  The SEC regulates the reporting requirments for all companies publicly traded.  If a company does not comply with the rules, the company, or its officers/directors can find themselves in deep trouble.

In reading the media headlines, of late, officers and directors who get caught manipulating or breaking the rules, will be accountable.  In my opinion, when these people are screwing with the system, they ought to pay a high price.

I'm not suggesting that Marts officers and directors are breaching the rules; as proof would be required to make any such allegation.   However, I would say that they are walking on very thin ice, given the amount of shareholder concerns!
