Anybody know what this could mean?

Anybody know what this could mean?At the Company's post AGM board meeting the following were appointed as officers of the Company:
 
Mr. Yao Sun as Vice President, Asia Pacific Region.

Mmmm,just wondering whrn we acquired Asia Pacific assets-or am I too far ahead of myself here?

Looks like Mr. Yao Sun has a new title or a new  job to do?

Anybody?
