RE: Roulston drops coverage of AUN - Safieko

RE: Roulston drops coverage of AUN - SafiekoMan, this web interface of SH really stinks. What a pain. Anyway...

"How much of shafter they have to sell to SLW? 1 or 2 million ounces??"

Safieko, I don't see any reason why SLW wouldn't do a deal for 1 million ounces a year for $40 mil. If they did the usual deal where they paid around $4 and ounce, at $14 silver, they'd get their $40 mil. back in 4 years. Then they a million ounces at $4 for as long as Shafter stays in production which could be 20 years when it's all said and done. That would sitll leave AUN with around 2.5 million ounces a year at Shafter. Throw in their share of La Negra (somewhere around 400K) and AUN is a 3 million ounces fairly low cost (around $7.50 at Shafter) producer.
