Correa TV interview affirms Mining LawEcuador Government's official web site shows Correa this Sunday assuring the public that he has necessary votes in the new National Assembly and the Mining Law passed in January is firmly in place. This means any further legislative action regarding mining is going to be passage of the rules pursuant to the Mining Law. Good going. Meanwhile have the agencies issue permits without further delay.

Sunday, July 26, 2009 23:43 Quito (Pichincha).- "We will Include the support of more than 70 votes in the National Assembly", assured the President of the Republic, Rafael Strap, during a television interview.Upon explaining that always assembly members have existed that have been with the Government, but due to disputes in their provinces could not be Country Alliance candidates.

Nevertheless it emphasized that they accepted any type of condicionamiento and worse nothing with no party will be negotiated "one must break the plans never we are going to give nothing, neither we go to accept any type of blackmail", added.

In answer to the question that Pachakutik would support to the block of Government in the event that the Mining Law be reformed and the Law of Water be revised. Besides, it assured that the Mining Law will not be modified unless errors exist.

It assured that the Ecuadorian town should have clear that never they will be with the professors that never they were evaluated.

With relation to the descent of its popularity the Head of state indicated that after two years they have been maintained in acceptable indices as is the 68%, but has been seen affected by the case of the supposed linking with the FARC, and the theme of its brother. Nevertheless it explained that the citizenship knows to differentiate very well between him and its brother Fabricio.

Quito (Pichincha).- “Contaremos con el apoyo de más de 70 votos en la Asamblea Nacional”, aseguró el Presidente de la República, Rafael Correa, durante una entrevista televisiva. Al explicar que siempre han existido asambleístas que han estado con el Gobierno, pero debido a disputas en sus provincias no pudieron ser candidatos de Alianza País.

Sin embargo enfatizó que no aceptaran ningún tipo de condicionamiento y peor se negociará nada con ningún partido “hay que romper los esquemas jamás vamos a dar nada, ni vamos aceptar ningún tipo de chantaje”, añadió.

En respuesta a la pregunta de que Pachakutik apoyaría al bloque de Gobierno en caso de que se reforme la Ley Minera y se revise la Ley de Aguas. Además, aseguró que la Ley Minera no será modificada salvo que existan errores.

Aseguró que el pueblo ecuatoriano debe tener claro que jamás estarán con los profesores que nunca se evaluaron.
