I wonder how much of their current infrastructurecan be used to exploit the supergene zone, and whether this can lead to a meaningfull reduction in cap ex.
It looks like we're talking 120 million tones here, wtih low low op costs, and high grade bulk copper, whose costs can be paid for by the 1 g/tonne gold.
I assume they will just start a stopping operation at the bottom of the pit and follow the deposit on the downdip. Having access to deposit without the cost of removing overburden or sinking a shaft.
