RE: Chris, NC, too many to name..
Although I ended up taking the lead on this effort, many others have contributed their time, money and support - so it was a good group effort. Of course, the close to 90% of minority that did not tender their shares is what really mattered in the end - with the institutions holding the most leverage. It has been a good experience working with them.
Severstal's next moves will be very telling. We may see a turning point in their tone with the release of the Q2 results Monday or sooner. Then it will benefit us all to work with and support them to help promote this great investment opportunity.
Any new contributions would be appreciated and thanks to those that have already sent funds in. I have received my final bills to date and they add up to just under $60,000. We have collected just over $4,200 to date. It is interesting to note that we saw a payoff of our investment in legal fees last week. I believe the press releases regarding the TSX de-lising review and clarification on debt default status were put out due to TSX complaint letters written by us and some of the institutions.
