Service Properties Trust is a real estate investment trust. The Company operates through two segments: hotel investments and net lease investments. It owns a portfolio of hotels and net lease service and necessity-based retail properties. The Company owns over 221 hotels with approximately 37,000 rooms or suites located in over 36 states, in the District of Columbia, Ontario, Canada and San Juan, Puerto Rico. It owns approximately 752 service-oriented retail properties with over 13.3 million square feet located in approximately 42 states. The Company’s net lease portfolio is occupied by over 175 tenants, which is operating approximately 137 brands in over 21 industries. The Company's net lease portfolio is leased to tenants that include travel centers, quick service and casual dining restaurants, movie theaters, health and fitness centers, grocery stores, automotive parts and services and other businesses in service-oriented and necessity-based industries.

RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: t/a TTSB TARGET 2.30 PAclcmc,$0$0$0$0good point about SVC's products not being a global consumer product.  It's products are geared towards global ISP's.  While RIM like revenues are quite remote if nearly impossible, SVC has the potential to generate a good percentage share of its market and who knows if SVC's competitors will still be around in the short to medium term.$0$0$0$0$0I've said before I like SVC's management and Caputo.  I agree a lot depends on its suite of products.  The quality of SVC's products likely depend on its engineers and broadly speaking, strategic direction by top management.  $0$0$0$0$0The question is whether its suite of products can and will generate consistent and increasing revenues that enable SVC to earn profits quarter in quarter out, year in and year out.$0$0$0$0
