Xstrata's 70% interest in its El Morro asset in Chile is said to be in play. NDG owns 30% and may want a bigger stake. If that is what the cash is for, it is likely that another company would also be involved as I doubt NGD management would swallow up 100% of El Morro.

Another possibility is NGD take on a bigger percentage and becomes operator allowing Xstrata to concentrate on some other prospects -- Los Azules???
