RE: RE: Oldlady just revealed his cardsIt's always good to look at both the positive and negative
But to compare Correa to Chavez is a non starter
Ecuador has a fraction of the oil that Chavez has
Chavez can finance his country and a few wannabees
As far as the U.S., Bush, and Ecuador
When Correa showed Bush and the U.S. the door by closing down their air base
it put Ecuador in the "same as Cuba" file....
but so be it....how many countries have air bases on the continental U.S.? ....hmmmm
Ecuador depends on the oil they have, and they need mining to make up the shortfall
Oil won't finance Ecuador's annual budget
Patience is the key word in these south american countries
We won't get decisions in a timely manner
But surprisingly they are sometimes investor friendly
Even the tree huggers want shoes on their feet
Remember that the bottom line is politics,
Canadian politics are no different
you wave your right hand to the tree huggers while signing a mining deal with the left
All juniors are a gamble
But it's still a game of location location location
Goldmarca hit some interesting holes
If EC can expand on that, it could be interesting where the sp goes
what was the previous high? $6.50?
I'm no expert, just had a few comments
I've been in Ecuador and ARU since the first FDN holes
Great info on this board guys & gals
Play nice
