RE: New Flyer Still A Good Bet

RE: New Flyer Still A Good BetI agree, I think it is just a temporary setback.  I am rounding up funds to buy more shares as I also had bought some just prior to the announcement.$0$0$0$0I think people are worried that other cancellations might occur if cities cannot get the amount of funds they had hoped to get.  I am still looking at the bigger picture - these cities still need these busses as more and more people are looking to public transit.  Also if governments expect you and I to get greener but when you hop on a bus it belches diesel smoke, I think there could be pressure to upgrade those to alternate fuels or clean diesel.$0$0$0$0$0I get why they need to lay staff off.  Every set (order) of buses is a custom order to meet the clients specs.  So just before the order is about to be worked on by newflyer's staff orders would go out to the parts supplies giving them the lead time they need to build those parts (like drivetrain components).  So now to start an order they were not expecting to start yet the best they could do is place those orders with their parts suppliers now and wait for delivery - no sense having employees sit around waiting.  Hopefully they can hire them back when needed before they find new jobs - I guess those employees will just get some other gov't stimulus money while they wait (unemployment payments).  $0
