    SASKATOON, Sept. 1 /CNW/ - CSIT Consulting Inc. ("CSIT"), announced todaythat it has received legal and dissident forms of proxy (the "DissidentProxies") representing a majority of the issued and outstanding shares ofAthabasca Potash Inc. ("API"). The Dissident Proxies were filed on behalf ofCSIT with Equity Transfer and Trust Company prior to 4:30 p.m. (EasternStandard Time). CSIT and its supporters intend to vote the Dissident Proxiesfor the election the alternate slate of Directors named in the Proxy Circularfiled by CSIT with securities regulators on August 26, 2009 at the annual andspecial meeting of shareholders of API (the "Meeting") scheduled to be held atthe Delta Bessborough Hotel, 601 Spadina Crescent East, Saskatoon,Saskatchewan at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2009.. The alternate slateof directors consists of Dawn Zhou, Bradley V.A. Fettis, Kenneth E. MacNeill,Robert Cross, Brian B. Goodwin, Charley X. Ye and Arnold E. Hillier.    CSIT intends to vote in favour of the other items of business that willbe considered at the Meeting, including fixing the number of directors, theappointment of the auditor, the amendments to API's stock option plan and theapproval of unallocated options.
