RE: Although TGB has a very bullish consensus,The hedging protected TGB in the short term,covering costs for the soon to be completed expansion.Once finalized,the company can mine much more efficiently.Then lower copper costs,if such occurred,would be less detrimental.
I believe the hedging expires in 2010.
To me the crucial variables are:
mining Gibraltor as cheaply as possible.
getting Prosperity mining.
I see nothing in the hedging to affect either.
