Knives In Your Back.Raptor:
I wouldn't be so sure that Teck isn't involved. No one can be certain here about anything for now. I do remind you that companies like Teck are always interested in getting in early on the action and they may have an inkling (read: more information that we do not know about) about some possible massive find. Given there has been a pretty heavy jump in volume it very well could be Teck or a company like them buying up as much as legally possible before a takeover offer, or there may be other interests (maybe the Chinese?) at work, doing essentially the same thing. It is simply something we can't be sure of one way or the other.
My gut feeling is that someone is accumulating shares, but admittedly I have very little to no proof that whomever is doing so is staking out the Company for a possible takeover, so it is basically pretty much a worthless opinion. What is good information and we can speculate about it is that the volume is up and that means something is going on, no matter how you slice it.
I do agree with Banker however, that Matt & Co. are slowly proving their theory and if it comes to pass that it is a big cap over the mineralization, all of us are going to be crying the blues for not picking up more shares at this level. (You might just be laughing all the way to the bank yet Ryan). Conversely, we may want to dump all of our shares and get out of the soap opera, if the theory tanks.
Personally I am reticent to jettison my shares no matter what because everytime I have done so in the past it seems whatever play I am looking at turns out to be a winner. It won't hurt to sit on them for some time anyway waiting for valuation even if it only comes from Hole 5A and surrounding area. I can't see letting my shares go for less than about a dollar just for that area of the play at any rate. We might get surprised one day here and be quite surprised by a takeover offer almost out of the blue. Don't forget there is a lot of M&A activity out there right now especially regarding oil and junior to mid level mining stocks.
Finally I say quit worrying about the bashers, you have to ask yourself what is the real reason for their behavior. It all comes down to the money folks. Once one realizes it is because they want to pick up cheap shares either for themselves or are paid to knock the play on behalf of others, then it becomes abundantly clear that you should just forget about them, they are not relevant except to the extent that they are showing huge interest in the play. Remember the old adage "if you wake up in the morning without a few knives hanging out of your back you aren't going friggin' anywhere". Bring it on bashers, everytime you post something I know you are more interested in acquiring shares than ever, your weak protestations to the contrary.
