RE: RE: RE: these results are at best mediocre....Good post chux.  The results quoted are from the Silver Zone.  Of the main Homestake Zone, the nr stated that,

" Drill hole HR09-128 returned high-grade gold mineralization averaging 18.5g/t gold over 2.1 metres within a 27.2 metre interval averaging 3.4g/t gold. An additional 14 holes have been drilled along the northwestern projection of mineralization, with assays pending"

So an interval of about 100 ft of 0.1 ozs per tonne for we "imperialists".  To me, those are quite strong results.  Expectations were undoubtedly high given certain intersections from the past.  But realistically, are they all going to be this high grade?

I agree that they're not the results we may have been hoping for (compared to 52m of 21g gold), but there's a lot of drilling to be performed and lots of assays forthcoming.  Had we had the "bonanza grades" this time through, ya, it would've created a bit of a frenzy and speculation.  I guess we'll just have to continue the wait.
