OSLO, Norway— Aker BioMarine signed an agreement to be the exclusive krill oil supplier to Schiff Nutrition International. The Salt Lake City-based company will incorporate Aker BioMarine’s Superba™ Krill Oil in its MegaRed® krill oil-based omega-3 dietary supplement. According to Bruce Wood, president and CEO, Schiff Nutrition, the company was impressed by Aker BioMarine’s vertical integration throughout the supply chain, technical capabilities including the EcoHarvesting™ technique and quality control measures. He added, “This gives us confidence in Aker BioMarine’s quality, supply reliability and sustainability, all critical factors for selection as a Schiff Nutrition supplier.”
