I can explain...TColvin,
What I think we are looking at here is what I call a small matter of difference in opinion or perspective.
The way you look at it sounds like you think that this mine is the only thing which will create shareholder value?
Why else mention anything about the mine and the 3 years?
I don't really think you understand why many investors choose Orko Silver as their investment?
Or why some members have given you a 1 rating for that matter?
I don't mind your post, others apparently do. I understand their reaction however since you voiced your own opinion without really getting the full picture we here do have...most of them then cause I hate to speak for all.
Let me explain it to you as to help you understand. If after that you still feel the same way then that is your own right and I will respect that.
Here it goes...
...investors don't really mind that a mine is still some time away, that is not their main concern, besides, if they're invested in Orko and somewhat engaged with the company they would also already know that the 3 year time-frame mentioned is just that...a mention. Trust me, have a call with management about this mine issue and the 3 year time-frame and I'm sure that's strike one for one of your beliefs.
Also, investors on the venture exchange mostly all are aware of the risks of trading there cause else you haven't done your research. Venture = more speculative, Toronto = bit less speculative.
Now, about Orko, investors that do understand the company and their business model choose to invest into Orko because with this deal they have going the more speculative bit has been reduced to bit less speculative....so to speak.
Investors that choose to invest mostly are not looking at easy and quick gains. They invest in Orko perfectly knowing what their exit will be and not to get off the train while it has not reached its end station.
Have a read at my blog as that will give you more of an understanding as to what I mean.

But, to each its own is what I always say, there are hundreds of other junior companies trading on the venture exchange, all with their own bumpy little rides. Some rides however will leave you wrecked, while others will leave you derailed. If you're into adrenaline rushes, high serotonine spikes and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel thing then by all means, there are plenty of rides on the venture exchange that will give you just that.
I'm choosing the Orko train cause its my believe that this (rail)road will be less bumpy than most other venture exchange ventures knowing that with Orko at each mid station we halt we add more ounces of silver and gold to our ever increasing passenger and cargo train.
ALL ABOARD!
