RE: ESOSounds like this board has a few whinners. Before bashing on ESO so harshly maybe take a look at the charts for Triex (TXM) with highs over $6, and now at $0.17. Pitchstone (PXP) had highs around $5, and is now $0.49. Titan had highs over $3, and is now at $0.30. There are many, many more.
A combination of Uranium running too hard and fast ($7/lb to $145/lb) and the global economic meltdown (fears of a depression) resulted in the slaughter of all the uranium juniors - especially ones without a significant uranium deposit (eg. Hathor bounced back ok).
There is nothing worse then putting your hard earned cash into a junior exploration company and losing most of it. I know all too well myself. But that is the chance one takes when they hit the buy button on a junior exploration company on the Venture exchange. The only thing worse would be the pink sheets.
Sounds like some people here put their life savings into ESO at the top of the bubble. If you bought in at $0.80 and see the stock go to $1.00, then you put a stop loss in for sure - you don't watch your money dwindle away. I try to invest in juniors when the sentiment is at its lowest, and the share price is hurting - like now. Now is a great time to hand pick cheap penny stocks that are at the bottom of the bubble. The bottom is pretty much in with the exception of one pull back looming IMO.
If a company doesn't have good assay results to release then it is standard not to release them as the shareholder will be hurt moreso. The last thing I'd want to see is a company releasing results that show assay values below detection limits.....lol! That would kill a share price.
Finding Uranium is not easy at all. Look at Fission, they are right next door to Hathor (Roughrider deposit is ~40 meters away), and they haven't seen any high grade Uranium in 10's of drill holes. The only reason they are sitting at about $0.23 is because of their partnership with KEPCO. It think after their fruitless summer drill program they are headed down hill for now.
Anyways, this board should lighten up. Gold is hot, Uranium is not, and that Donna property looks interesting. Drilling early next summer?
