RE: Grandich Comment

RE: Grandich CommentCar:  I agree that Grandich did not seem focused.  He did choose cobalt as his # 1 metal to invest in or his "sleeper metal," and he did mentiion Formation during his comment on cobalt.  However, Formation is not a "speculative play" such as some of the other exploration companies he commented favorably on such as Evolving Gold where they are still doing the early drilling.

Formation is about to obtain financing, commence construction, and hopes to go into production in 2010.  Formation also has much of the processing equipment delivered to the Salmon area for assemply when the green light is given.  I would not characterize such a company as speculative - as we understand that term in the mining sector.

However, the other guest on Friday also seemed to get confused during his presentation of his top picks.  The other guest seemed to contradict himself within his own comments.  Possibly these guys are not at their best under the spotlights of a TV station?

The 2.85 million shares that traded Friday is intersting however I'm not sure what to make of it since the share price did not advance despite the volume.  I wonder if this was one of the market makers selling with one hand and buying with another which is a technique they use to buy shares while simultaneously holding down the market price.

The mining conference this weekend should be a plus for FCO even if they just repeat the current facts already announced.  I believe Garndich is going to produce a video this weekend from the mining conference and we will see if he mentions Formation in the video.

Just one person's opinion.
