Simon continues to play a major role in the successful growth of Banro Corp. and in its transition from a gold explorer to a gold producer in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). His financial and mining expertise, combined with his experience working in the DRC, will be invaluable in helping us to grow Loncor as a gold and platinum exploration company in the DRC. Martin Jones has contributed to Banro's success through his corporate development activities and as head of the charitable Banro Foundation, and we look forward to him playing a similar role with Loncor."
