RE: RE: My take on the.....People on bullboards are obsessed with the sp.of course the sp is important and is the ultimate target but
management has other priorities ie how to get there.I don't think management is focused on the sp but on
the way to get value for the company .the sp of this company has been impacted by the move made by the
Ecuadorian governement which was first considered very negative(also because the geographical situation
next to Chavez,Moraleslike individuals).Socialist bureaucracy is what mining in Ecuador is dealing with now but there is a policy in place and the will for succeeding is also there. All management can do now is being patient and ready with funds for when the signal comes that drilling can go ahead. It is in everybody's interest to have an increasing value/marketcap .Aurelian did not have big financial means and yet they managed to drill FDN and were
working there for years until suddenly a discovery took everyone by surprise, the ideal scenario because there were
no setbacks on the way to higher sp.
EC is more than an area play here,it is almost the same property and this is presently not even reflected in the shareprice;in fact the sp has been decimated by several factors ,the latest one being too much
expectations for an immediate run higher and fear for another setback.
Unlike Chavez and Morales,Correa went to university and studied in Europe and USA;let's see if he can keep
his people under control and make it a workable cooperation because whereas Chavez is a Socialist dictator
Correa is a Socialist democrat .
The sp will go up when ok for drilling is given because the company will increase in value with that
barrier gone and again the sp will go up as soon as EC will start drilling.
