RE: RE: Interesting comments..........
RE: RE: Interesting comments..........IMHO - this company continues to be undervalued because most investors (speculators) lose their patience and move on to chase the hot stock of the day. To each their own, but I never could understand the mentality. Personally I'd rather wait patiently for a 'sure thing' where I'm going to double or triple (or better) my money. It doesn't take many of these investments to set yourself up for the future.
From the DD I've done, Oromin fits into this category. I feel for the longs who have been with this one since the beginning - if it wasn't for the 'credit crisis' you'd all have already laughed your way to the bank. For what its worth - my prediction - this is an minimum easy double within 2 quarters and an minimum easy triple within 3 quarters. Given that they are in the middle of a 100,000 m drill program to delineate high grade zones and uncover new deposits, frequent drill results should become the norm. Additionally, management is almost at the point of selling their final product - so expect marketing intensity to increase substantially. Finally, the revised PFS (Q2 2010) should increase resources to over 5 million pounds, which is pretty hard to keep under the radar.
From the latest PR -
We expect the 2010 revision of the initial study to improve the project economics as a result of capital cost reductions, altered mining scenarios identified by optimization studies and the inclusion of other and new higher grade deposits and higher grade underground potential at existing deposits. Newly discovered resource ounces may positively impact the optimization of the currently proposed mine plan and treatment facility and enhance the net value of the Sabodala Project. We will continue our aggressive drill program beyond the end of 2009, the results from which will form the basis of the revised PFS in 2010. We are also very encouraged by the interest shown in our project by senior mining companies working in the area and by international investment banks such as CIBC World Markets and Euroz Securities Limited. An indication of this interest is clearly shown by Iamgold's recent acquisition of a 17% shareholding in Oromin."
Hard to believe that this ROI (100%-200% in 6-9 months IMHO of course) may not be 'fast enough' for some, or that we should consider ourselves 'lucky'. Its just fine with me.
