"mini Kirkuk" Vast Exploration
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before but herewith a brief summary of
The Qara Dagh block has a "structure" called "Black Mountain" which may contain a lot (billions of barrels) of "easy-lifting" oil, that's about all I can work out with my knowledge. The CEO is apparently on record as saying that he believes it will be the largest onshore discovery in decades, FWIW. A "mini-Kirkuk".
What I am liking though is how upcoming events will drive the SP higher, given the current hype surrounding Kurdistan in general. Note that if Stockhouse is any guide the Canucks are getting very excited about this one, which may mean that the stock will rise substantially in anticipation of events regardless of what subsequently happens.
So what are these events?
1) Oct: Publication of 2D Seismic data
2) Oct: Concurrent with the above, the release of a "NI 51-101 Contigent Resource Statement".
3) New Year: Your actual drilling
All this is funded thanks to recent equity fund-raisings at 40c and 75c.
