Again, I voted for Bush 2x - once to many... Obama will be a good president. he has already created a 5-billion dollar fund ot protect the Great Lakes... which the Menominee River flows into... more angst for Aquila.... Plus enforcing EPA regulations,,,, something tha Bush ignored,,, more negative impact for Aquila.... Plus, the point missed by the Aquila clown… What 1MMfor15percent wrote is that MENOMINEE COUNTY HAS ZONING… THAT PROHIBITS MINING WITHIN 1280 FEET OF THE MENOMINEE RIVER, IN THAT RECREATIONAL ZONE. THIS IS IN ADDITION TO ANY TOWNSHIP ZONING... THE COUNTY ZONING HIS HAS BEEN AROUND SINCE 1941 AND THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY GAVE HIS LEGAL OPINION THAT IT IS VALID AND ENFORCEABLE… Question: how many land owners bought land knowing this zoning would protect their interests? Answer: A LOT…. THAT’S MORE AQUILA CAN EXPECT SHOULD ANYTHING CHANGE…. OOOPS,,, ANOTHER QUIGLEY OVERSIGHT...

1MMfor15percent: The Hudbay executive that attended the Lake Township board meeting this past Wednesday admitted the zoning in place by Lake Township impacts Aquila and is "onerous". I guess this gentleman hasn't been told by the president of Aquila that the County also has zoning. The local DA said it is valid and enforceable. That zoning prohibits any mining within 1280-feet of the Menominee River or any commercial business or activity in that zone.... Oops, I guess Aquila forgot to tell you about that. I bet they also forgot to mention a lot of other liabilities,,,
