RE: RE: I'm trying to figure out...
Toaster says:
I have been with Vendtek since the days when theymade pull tab lottery tickets for the pubs, so I don’t think I can beaccused of being a recent arrival with this company. That being said, I am frustrated (a bit disgusted) with the management attitude that the shareholder has infinite patience.
Me too, Toaster. I've been an investor since pull-tab days. And I agree with your sentiments about being left out of the loop, I don't like it either.
Most of us want to know that our investment is safe.
With that in mind, I've continued to do my own research since the stock has been halted. Not to keep myself emotionally too involved (as someone chided), but to keep
level-headed about my investment.
None of us can answer Darbygirls' questions. But with a little bit of creative digging, here are a few questions you CAN get answers to:
1. What sizeable country has Vendtek entered since the trading halt? It's not one that was on the radar.
2. That country (and business) participated in a major trade show in another VSI-partnered country at the end of the summer, a big event. What was it?
3. Is Vendtek hiring? If so, what position/s? In what countr/ies?
4. Are any of their partners hiring positions that indicate growth i.e. Account Managers, Customer Service Agents, Engineers?
5. How is the MENA market managed? From UAE? Or is there on the ground management in countries like, say, Sudan?
6. Where was CEO Doug Buchanan last week?
7. There's a particular market segment that is really happy about the news that I posted earlier today. Who are they and why?
Hey, beats sitting around and waiting for the stock to trade. And for me, it has, over the past months, taken my anxiety and anger level waaaayy down.
How about another song ditty: "You can't always get what you want, but it you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you neeedddd."
