RE: Severstal will sell or IPOSever all is going to be the new name for the company, and everyone is Igor to hear something. Is that correct? It does not matter which way they go, they can't get the needed shares cheap, to date, and are still pissing around. We hear people say, they are smart, they are dumb, they are this or that. I say, they are exactly what they appear to be, a company in trouble (Severstal that is) with this situation a possible big money maker. I am on the not too bright side, but many disagree. Why do I say this? Because in the end, if capitalizing on HRG and the gold sector is the plan, are they doing it in a way that maximizes their value and reward? I do not think so, but its their money, they can do whatever they like while they still have some! The simplest route, IMO, would have been, and STILL is the real money maker, but they are rapidly burning their bridges with the investment community. That route would have seen promotion of all their assets, promotion of their production, how bright the future looks portrayed, and ongoing efforts to increase their known reserves, yielding a far higher share price, in the light of the current gold and silver price. Then they coud have used the stock as currency, to acquire FAR MORE than they will end up with now. The window is fading as the prices of those previously available in many cases assets now increase in value, and their stock price stays low. So they end up groveling along for small gains, and missing the window to become a major player. Because why was it? Ah yes, we want to control it all, so we can put it into that lead anchor Severstal Steel. F'n brilliant all right. They are missing it big time.IMO These games are being played and are REALLY DUMB. It is them who lose the most, and miss the most. But it is sooooooooooo soooooooooo Russian! The mentality has Russia trapped, and until it changes, it will cost them. In the end, they pay up, then what, you think they make more than having a listed Canadian Company which could and should be trading at around $5 with any sort of shrewd management and IR/PR in this current environment. Not likely. You want to buy a Russian Gold mine on their exchange????? roflmao
Just sell it or get off your asses. That is my advice.
