Here in the US, in my small town, the scarcity of vaccines is real. After one elementary school recieved shots for their children,  all other schools in our area cancelled their planned shot clinics for next week since they have no more vaccine available.

In a Friday afternoon briefing, CDC Director Dr. Thomas Frieden said, “We are nowhere near where we thought we’d be by now. We are not near where the vaccine manufacturers predicted we would be. We share the frustration of people who have waited online or called a number or checked a Web site and haven’t been able to find a place to get vaccinated.”
