RE: IMO

RE: IMOI find myself in strange territory in that I disagree with you  hippygirl.  I am not usually a "conspiracy" person but in this case I just don't buy into the "accident" theory.

In my view this is all part of a three month "agressive intervention" on the part of Covidien or their representatives that started with the suddenly submitted "additional information" and resulted in a three month extension.  During that time period we have seen "Anonymous" do the "downtick" thing to keep the price low.  I am not calling for lawyers or investigations as I see this all as part of the market game.

Most of us are agreed that we have a significant product heading for a significant marketplace.  If it is that evident to us then it is well beyond that to Corporate America.

I feel the goal is to keep things within a reasonable range and thereafter to orchestrate a buyout at whatever price might be appropriate.  Given the number of shares outstanding (391 million), every single penny (.01) represents a 4 million savings in the eventual purchase price.  Even the big, big people pay attention to 4 million a "click" (.01 increment)  It really is probable that this was assigned to some "administrative junior" to bring in a some pre-determined number by "decision day".

My projection is that following the "post decision day" market reaction we will be faced with a corporate offer to take NRI into its next phase.  Is that good or bad? Who knows.  Warren Buffett has been quoted as saying the best time to sell is "never".  A corporate buyout where the decision is essentially removed from you seems to meet that test.

Onward and Upward.
