RE: Optimistic... cautiously..

RE: Optimistic... cautiously.."I want this stock to fly as much as anyone else but the last big news release definitely left me with a bad taste in my mouth."

Yes but a quick look at the stock prior to that I think explains a lot of it......first of all, it went up over 100% - on no news - from about $0.20 to over $0.40 in the week or so before news was announced......when that happens, that 's a huge red flag....expectations that high are rarely ever met......and so naturally, when news was announced, it tanked.

Certainly there's been some spec money in place ahead of this news as well, bu not nearly as pronounced, and the stock is reacting in a much more organic manner....I remember the last NR because that's the first time I took notice of this stock....I was looking for a reversal of the initial selloff for a good entry point, and never found it.....

In the medium term, you don't want the huge rises and dips......slow and steady growth is a much better reciper for success if you have the patience for it....

On a side note, 20%+ is not peanuts

As someone said, this kind of play is bought by buy and holders...billionaires who have no inclination to daytrade for pennies, and that kind of money never enters a stock 2 hours after news is announced....they'll do meticulous research before they get involved, and if it costs them a bit of a higher entry point, I don't think they mind too much, given the scope of time they tend to take.

I recommend doing what I did, take a bit of profit off the table (it's always wise to book a profit when it's there) and then relax and dopn't bother worrying about the minute by minute ticks. I booked about 10% of my original positions and am more then happy to let the remainder ride for a while.
