RE: Iraq, Kurdistan, The USA and oil. This does not reflect in any way on the efforts of VST its board or its business plan. I think they have it well under control
The surprise comes with the US election and the new President .He is viewed in this part of the world (Kurdistan) as a naive, narcissistic, militarily weak, marxist, lightweight. People in this area respect the strong man.
The President with Senator Reid and Pelosi are getting out of Iraq in 2011 as per their statements, this to appease the party base left wing.
If they do things may be delayed another 100 years.
Baghdad has stated from the start they will not let the Kurds write their own laws and have stated all contract there are illegal. To back that up no one is getting paid for oil shipped to date. As the oil reached the surface with the other area players the troubles started and continue. Google "Kudistan, oil, troubles"
Baghdad does not want Kusidtan to have power thru money thru oil inside their country. If wealth comes to the surface its a long way from Kuristan to the shareholders bank in Canada. Imagine wealth in a land of until now few laws, no rights, no freedoms and no money. Back that up with an endless supply of hatred, and endless supply of troubles and sorrows and the only thing they are not short of is ammunition.
For sure Baghad does not care to enrich shareholders in a far of land, on a small exchange in Vancouver with what they see as their national treasure of oil. They will try to have it themselves, if not then spoil at every chance so no one does.
Take that risk away and $20,00 is possible.
I have no idea as to how politics will play out but anything that ends in "STAN" is always trouble.
That said Kudistan is about the best of all the "Stans"if that helps.
The stock is in a solid downtrend now at these prices with the company doing most things correct. Its the political dark clouds that are the problem. Same same story for centuries.
