The average retail investor is not made aware of the fact that once a board lot is triggered in your price range, the rest of your order becomes a Market order, and the price can quickly trade below (or above, in the case of buying) your Limit price and some of your order may not be filled. Traders rely on you not knowing this as well.

Also, Very Important: Always check if you have existing orders!
