RE: RE: RE: John Helmer article

RE: RE: RE: John Helmer articleIf he is the real deal - and I truly hope so - then there is far more to rumour about Severstal selling off gold assets and High River Gold to boot.  This is the best news possible (outside of the final outlandish endgame of private placement), however this means that with this final placement they must then be committed to raise the value of HRG to achieve a several multiple increase in a sale.

Knowing how hard ball they have played with us, I expect they will play as hard with the Chinese trying to achieve every last cent from them.  I don't think Chinese financiers will mind since they seem to be in a habit of overpaying for assets.

My only concern is that in the deal, HRG is lumped with other gold assets from Severstal and we do not receive the full inflated value of our shares.

If the Chinese get involved, we should expect at least $3.00 a share, and possible with continued increase of gold prices towards $5.00/share.

If I was a director of HRG (or Severstal) for that matter, I would take every last cent of the private placement and begin drilling Bissa and Prognoz like mad trying to increase the measured resources prior to a sale.
