RE: AT&T Admits to Backhaul Issues

RE: AT&T Admits to Backhaul Issuesthanks for the post and link bgdick.

I agree - if they can win this customer, the stock will most likely go up.  I think AT&T has about 82M wireless subscribers (although that may change with their iPhone exclusivity ending) and a significant # on the wireline side as well.  Caputo mentioned at the Investor Conference wanting to help AT&T with their network - I think he mentioned he had a horrendous time using the net on a Apple iPhone while he was in New York.  Presuming Comcast and SVC continue to work together moving forward, a combination of AT&T and Comcast would obviously be significant for SVC.

What I don't get is given that SVC is a leading Canadian tech company, will SVC ever land a Canadian ISP?  I sense Bell is out with Ellacoya and not sure what Rogers, Telus and Shaw think about SVC.  But if they can land one or two major Canadian ISP's, albeit naturally with much lower # of subscribers than say Comcast & AT&T, well, that would be good.

Interesting to see what the ISP's plan on doing and which suppliers they end up choosing.
