RE: Buy on rumors..Sell on news
RE: Buy on rumors..Sell on newsBuy on rumor and sell on news is true IF the news has a shelf life with no revenues in the near term. For example, a gold company says that they found huge quantities of gold... but there are no roads and there is no electricity to the area... then reality sets in and the power of the news fades ( the shelf-life).
Another example is a change in CEO. So a famous CEO comes in to save a company. Look at Bell Canada. Michael Sabia comes in and the sp goes high... but once again, this news had a shelf-life. And where is the sp now. Flat lined.
FDA approval and a distribution and marketing plan in place via Covidien is different.
Okay, i've got my bid in... In honor of Beenthere... hint hint.
