RE: RE: Curtis, Is it U now putting up this NR?Next....pretty hard to put out a news release if you don't have the goods. Contrary to many here who believe this exchange is a play ground for "Howe street" promoters, it is tougher than most people know, or understand. Hence, the real reason we have not had a news release is most likely because there is nothing solid that can be put out.
I would agree that the current management should be very worried about whether or not the votes at the AGM will allow them to continue. For those wishing to have a say in this company's future, remember that only "registered" shareholders receive the circular for the AGM to vote. If you have not received that circular in the past you may want to check with your broker so you can fill out the necessary paperwork.
After reading the REV board comments recently, it is clear that the lack of focus by management has brought shareholders to a breaking point. As I said in a post a few weeks ago, for those who have been in this stock for awhile, we know that this company has been all over the board. First it was Red Mountain, what happened? Gold went down...next. On to the Wolfgang fiasco and the infamous Triple AAA fund that was going to back the Polish deal to the tune of $100 million....what happened? In true Wolfgang fashion the funds were contigent upon so many factors Houdini could not have made this money appear. Next....deal with United Energy...it's a distribution deal..REV's only tangible asset here is a piece of paper saying they have the right to sell the new " and improved " formula that could generate some cash flow.
The point of going through that little bit of history is to review where the focus has been. How much drilling has been done on Red Mountain regardless of the price of gold? If the Polish deal was everything that Wolfgang was selling, why wasn't he or REV able to raise any money to prove up the project? How can a junior company with no expertise, money, or staff sell a product to the oil industry?
That to me is why the shareholders are at an all time high on the frustration scale. Clearly, management doesn't own very much of the 70 million shares out there and should be more concerned about how they communicate the project du jour. Hopefully, this AGM will bring the focus that has been lacking for many years. If so, that should be positive for everyone in the company, management included.
