New Government Infrastructure Brings a Mine at Tahuehueto Closer to Reality
Scheduled for completion in late 2010, a new government two lanepaved highway under construction will connect northwestern DurangoState to Sinaloa State near Culiacan. This new highway passes close toTopia near Canelas and exits the Sierra Madre Mountains at Tamazula, amere 45 km from Culiacan, the capital of Sinaloa State.

This new highway will dramatically improve the possibility of amine being built at Tahuehueto by markedly improving theProjects future access and proximity to electrical power. It will alsoprovide access to two deep sea ports on Mexico's west coast in Mazatlanand Topolobampo. Either of these two deep sea ports will be able to actas a conduit for any future production concentrate sales, should theTahuehueto project be proven by Soho to be economically viable and putinto production.

Without this new highway Soho envisioned that concentrate from anyfuture mining operations would have to be shipped from Tahuehueto overa gravel road requiring upgrading over at least 100 km of its 185 kmtotal distance to Tepehuanes and from there to Penoles smelter inTorreon, which is approximately another 400 km distant. The new highwayconstruction will reduce the shipment route from about 600 km to justover 400 km with all but 40 km on paved highways. When completed, thisnew highway will open world markets for any future Tahuehuetoconcentrate sales, if and when production were achieved.

Gaining access to Tahuehueto via Topia will also have the addedbonus of accessing the State electrical power grid which is currentlyabout 30 km from Tahuehueto along a potential Topia - Tahuehueto futureaccess route, instead of accessing power from Tepehuanes approximately185 km from Tahuehueto.

The above is very good news to Soho and its loyal shareholders, and management intends to continue discussions with the Durango Stategovernment to determine what assistance may be available from bothState and Federal governments for the road and power infrastructurerequirements of any future mining operations realized at Tahuehueto.
